Shipping & delivery

Processing & dispatch time

Our products are only processed and prepared for shipment after receipt of payment. Once payment has been received, you will receive an order confirmation and we will start processing the order and preparing it for dispatch.

Shipping service provider

Shipping is carried out via UPS. We use UPS Standard as our standard shipping method.

Shipping costs: automatic calculation in the checkout

The shipping costs are calculated automatically in the checkout as soon as you have entered your delivery address. The calculation is based on:

  • the shipping zone of the destination country
  • the total weight of your order

The total shipping costs are displayed transparently in the shopping cart or checkout before you complete your order.

Net/taxes (B2B) & VAT ID

Our store is aimed exclusively at companies. The shipping costs are calculated and displayed as part of the B2B process according to your delivery address and – if relevant – your VAT ID check.

For deliveries within the EU, a tax-free intra-Community delivery can be made if the requirements are met (e.g. valid VAT ID number, movement of goods to other EU countries, obligation to provide evidence).

Possible surcharges

Please note that shipping rates may be supplemented by surcharges (e.g. fuel/energy surcharges, out-of-area surcharges or surcharges for additional services) depending on the period and destination. UPS would also like to point out that rates in guides do not necessarily include customs duties/taxes/VAT or all surcharges.

Such surcharges may – if applicable during the shipping period – be charged additionally.

Deliveries to third countries (e.g. Switzerland, UK): Customs & customs clearance

Deliveries to third countries (e.g. Switzerland and – since Brexit – the UK) generally require customs formalities. Since 2021, export declarations and import processes (import sales tax, customs duties if applicable) must be taken into account for the movement of goods EU ↔ UK.

Import duties / customs clearance costs:

Import duties (e.g. import sales tax, customs duties if applicable) and any clearance/presentation costs of the transport service provider are usually borne by the recipient/importer. UPS also expressly points out that customs duties/taxes/handling charges are not included in the rates quoted.

Should we incur additional costs in the course of processing the shipment (e.g. due to handling or service provider fees), these may be charged on subsequently.
