Conical strainer / start-up strainer type H – select DN/PN/mesh size

The conical strainer (start-up strainer) type H serves as compact, reliable protection against particles – both in start-up operation and in continuous operation. In particular, it protects downstream valves, pumps, containers and pipelines for liquid, viscous and gaseous media.

Thanks to its conical shape, type H offers a larger filter surface than flat designs. This means that dirt residues can be retained in the conical screen while the pressure loss remains low – an advantage for continuous processes and maintenance-friendly systems.

• Design: conical sieve / “hat shape” with larger filter surface, low pressure loss
• Standards / connection: Installation between standard flanges DIN EN 1092-1 or ANSI B16.5
• Installation position: horizontal or vertical
• Standard materials:
  • Ring: Stainless steel 1.4301
  • Wire mesh: stainless steel 1.4401, internal or external
• Nominal sizes: DN 25 to DN 350 (others on request)
• Nominal pressures: PN 10 to PN 40 (project-specific PN 06 also possible)
