The type S flat plate strainer (temporary strainer) reliably protects pipelines, valves and aggregates from particles during start-up and continuous operation – even with liquid, viscous and gaseous media. The flat design enables quick installation/removal between flanges and easy cleaning. At the same time, the pressure loss remains low, which makes type S particularly easy to maintain and practical for industrial applications.
Select the appropriate nominal size (DN) and nominal pressure (PN) in the store. The mesh size can vary depending on the design – for special requirements (very fine or coarse, special media, temperature/corrosion), we manufacture on a project-specific basis.
The flat plate strainer (type S) is designed as an intermediate flange strainer and is used between standard flanges in accordance with DIN EN 1092-1 or ANSI B 16.5.
Installation can be carried out quickly thanks to the low installation depth: The flat plate strainer is positioned in the flange connection and then fixed evenly via the flange screw connection.
For servicing, quick installation and removal as well as easy cleaning are described, which can support use both in the start-up phase and in suitable applications as permanent protection.
